Bonga Perkins & I after his victory. Bonga, yet again defending his 5 time streak at taito. It is always amazing to watch Bonga surf anything. Congrats on your win!
Watching from shore. Bonga Perkins & Kevin Connelly switching boards during the finals at taito. Bonga, riding kevin's 9'8 and turning it like a regular high-performance board. Kevin riding Bonga's high-performance board, got to say kevin was ripping on bonga's board....Omoshirokatta!!
Suga giving his friend a surfing school. The guy on the board does not have the usage of his legs, but he loves the ocean. Its been 10yrs since he's been in the ocean. So Suga, Shoruku(Kenji Miyauchi) & I lended a helping hand. This guy was charging, you could see satisfaction all of his face. Otsukara sama desu.
Yuki on her new board sponsor RESTART surfboard. She was rippin!! In the final this was the last wave of the heat in the last 10 seconds. She just fell shy of winning the event! Good luck yuki, next one!!
